The Hoosier Daddy Band

The Hoosier Daddy Band was formed in 1998 with one thought in mind, provide a great variety of music regardless of the type or style. 
​The Band's love and passion for classic country is engrained in our heritage. Growing up to sounds of Buck Owens, George Jones, Merle Haggard, and Conway Twitty inspired and provided a foundation that is the key element to our sound. As Classic Country helped create our sound, the love of Rock n Roll encourged us to add energy to the band and crowd.
Although the Band was formed 1998 with members Tom Sampson on guitar and lead vocals, Mark Whitter on drums and vocals,  Larry Sansoucie on pedal steel guitar and George Vinson, the history goes so much deeper. Each member has played and performed with another since the early 70's. It is the main reason the group can switch from Classic Country to Classic Rock and not skip a beat. In 2007 we lost our beloved bass player George Vinson, who remains forever in our hearts and music.

In 2012 we added two great young musicians to the group. Chris Belt on Bass Guitar and B.J. Vilmer on lead Guitar, both came to the band with that same drive and desire.

The Band's ability to play a wide range of music has endured the test of time, adding some of the greats from the 80's and 90's with some new mixed in for good measure.
